SMS program terms
- Program: StartAnARF inquiry text messages. If you submit our contact form and check the SMS consent box, we text you to follow up on your inquiry.
- What you will receive: an automated text asking when you hope to open your facility (reply 1, 2, or 3), a confirmation after you reply, and one reminder if you have not replied within about 24 hours. A consultant may also contact you by phone or email.
- Message frequency: up to 3 messages per inquiry. Other follow-up is by email.
- Cost: message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
- Opt out: reply STOP at any time and we will stop texting you. You will receive one final message confirming this.
- Help: reply HELP, email info@startanarf.com, or call (562) 222-0942.
- Consent is not required to purchase any goods or services from us. You can also reach us by phone or email without texting.
- Supported carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Your information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Using this website
The information on startanarf.com is general information about the California licensing process for ARFs and RCFEs. It is not legal, tax, or financial advice, and licensing requirements, fees, and timelines are set by the California Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division, and local authorities and can change. Timelines and costs we publish are estimates. We do not guarantee that any application will be approved or that you will obtain a license.

StartAnARF provides consulting services. We are not a government agency and are not affiliated with the California Department of Social Services. We do not broker real estate. Specific consulting engagements are governed by a separate written agreement.
